Privacy
The ZBrowser app has no accounts, analytics or telemetry and never sends your browsing history, searches, cookies or page content to us. Like any browser it still makes network requests, and two optional features (the update check and SmartScreen) are explained below. ZBrowser is published by Zbellbound.
Your data
Browsing data lives in a disposable per-session folder and is deleted when you close ZBrowser or press Flush. Last updated 2 November 2026.
From the app: no browsing data, accounts, sign-in, analytics or telemetry. We do not know what you browse.
Session data is deleted on close or Flush. Downloads are encrypted for the session and deleted on exit. Settings stay local. Diagnostic logging is off by default and never records URLs, search terms, cookies or history.
Only when you press Check for updates in Settings, never automatically. It reads zbrowser.app/version.json and adds no identifiers or browsing data, but like any web request it reveals your IP address to the server, and the website host may log it.
Off by default. If you turn it on, the addresses you visit and download information go to Microsoft, and Windows settings may override your choice. With it off, nothing is sent to Microsoft for this check, but ordinary browsing still sends requests to websites through your network. It is not complete malware protection.
Pages are rendered by Microsoft Edge WebView2. Websites, your network and your internet provider see normal requests, including your IP address. ZBrowser is not a VPN or an anonymity tool.
We do not sell, rent or share personal data. The app sends us no browsing data, and emails you send us are used only as described here.
ZBrowser has no accounts and asks no one, including children, for personal information. Like any browser, it can reach content on the internet, and websites you visit may collect data under their own policies.
If you email Hey@zbrowser.app, we receive your address and what you write. We use it only to reply and to handle permission requests, never for marketing, and keep it only as long as needed. You can ask to see, correct or delete it, and you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies. Like any website, our host may log requests such as IP addresses. The ZBrowser app contains no analytics.
